I am Mitchell

Welcome

I'm an artist/photographer, born in Brooklyn,

an MFA Photography graduate of Pratt Institute.

I'm living in the Lower Hudson Valley.

have worked as a location scout & manager,

shooting nearly 2 million frames over 25 years.

Photographing primarily within 3 hours of NYC

My work has involved shooting in cities, suburbs and rural places.

In the past 12 years, I've returned to creating

and showing my artwork after a long break.

MY VISION

My creative process is a very personal response to the world,

I'm an explorer, seeking to discover the beauty of a moment,

to receive of the essence of Spirit in the world and in myself.

Becoming present, allowed to be touched by beauty,

how light, color and form unite,

bringing forth that which is held within the negative .
